Elizabeth Blair, CEO - Prior to Brand.net, Elizabeth was Yahoo!'s Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the global operating group (sales, product, marketing, international) from 2003-7. She joined Yahoo! in 1998, working first in corporate and business development, and then as VP and SVP of the Local Media Group including Classifieds (Yahoo! Autos, Careers, Real Estate and Tickets), Local (Yellow Pages, Maps) and Search Monetization. Prior to Yahoo! she was a member of the M&A team at PRIMEDIA. She began her career as a securities and M&A lawyer. Elizabeth received a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Andy Atherton, COO - Prior to Brand.net, Andy was Vice President of Global Pricing & Yield Management (PYM) for Yahoo!, responsible for maximizing monetization of Yahoo's $2B+ annual worldwide portfolio of display advertising. Andy created, developed and globalized the PYM function in his five years at Yahoo! Prior to Yahoo! he co-founded and was president of Optivo, a venture backed start-up that developed price optimization software for e-commerce retailers. Andy began his career at R.B. Webber & Co, a Silicon Valley strategy consultancy and venture fund. He received a B.S. in Engineering from MIT.
Ryan Christensen, VP Media Operations - Prior to Brand.net, Ryan spent four years at Yahoo! as Senior Director of Pricing & Yield Management. He was responsible for remnant inventory operations and the integration of Yahoo's display ad network including acquisitions Right Media and Blue Lithium. Prior to Yahoo! Ryan was founder and CEO of Sentrik, which developed enterprise network security appliances. He previously held management positions with Rocket Network, an enterprise tech company focused on the media industry, and R.B. Webber & Co, a Silicon Valley strategy consultancy and venture fund. Ryan received a B.S. in Engineering from MIT.
Melissa Goidel, VP Sales - Prior to Brand.net, Melissa was Vice President of National Sales, Time Inc., where she built and managed the sales forces for People.com, Instyle.com and EW.com. Before Time Inc., Melissa spent eight years at Yahoo!, as Regional Vice President of Sales, Eastern Division, managing the Finance and Business Services category. Prior to her Internet sales career, Melissa was a Group Sales Director at Catalina Marketing and began her career selling broadcast media at Katz Media Group. Melissa received a B.S. in Journalism from University of Maryland, College Park.
Madhu Vudali, VP Product - Prior to Brand.net, Madhu spent four years at Yahoo! as Senior Director of Pricing & Yield Management, responsible for maximizing monetization of Yahoo's display and search advertising inventory. Prior to Yahoo! Madhu was in management consulting and product development roles, all focused on Pricing & Yield Management at Rapt and Talus/Manugistics. Madhu’s clients included Yahoo!, HP, Ford Motor Company and Sheraton Hotels. Madhu began his career as a Systems Engineer at Nortel Networks. He received a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University, India, an M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova, and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Texas.
Aram Compeau, VP Engineering - Prior to Brand.net, Aram was Chief Technology Officer at Boredat, a venture backed anonymous social network for college students. Aram previously co-founded Trailside Systems, a Telco data center software company, and Dark Indigo, an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) consulting firm, and has consulted extensively on enterprise software systems performance, scalability, and optimization. Aram began his career in the semiconductor industry and spent five years as a software developer for TIBCO Software, a global leader in real-time business software. Aram received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
